ARRL Field Day 2017


Johnson City Amateur Radio Association and Northeast Tennessee District 7 SKYWARN team up to bring you ARRL Field Day. Where we set up and operate radio for 24 hours. Come out and join us, everyone is invited.

When:  Saturday, June 24th (2:00 PM EDT) through Sunday, June 25th (2:00 PM EDT)

Where:  Pride Park in Gray, TN (Next to Daniel Boone High School)





National Weather Service office in Morristown, TN from Friday, December 2 until Saturday December 3 for SKYWARN Recognition Day!

NWS offices will be active across the country to operate on HF, VHF, UHF, Digital, EchoLink, CW, voice, and much more!

The event runs from 0000z Saturday for 24 hours until 0000z Sunday. In Morristown, that’s 7PM ET Friday to 7PM ET Saturday.

Attention all ham operators, we will be using the callsign of WX4MRX. Watch for us on the DX Cluster.

Come join us Saturday October 22, 2016 for our first ever open house!* Stop by any time between 10 AM and 2 PM to learn about the NWS, our office, and what we do on a daily basis at the office. There is no cost, admission is free!
